About Garden Making
Garden Making magazine aims to inspire and inform Canada's gardeners with useful, practical information you can use in your home garden. We aim to serve expert and beginning gardeners — anyone who really wants to know the what, when and how of gardening. Garden Making magazine is published quarterly.
Beckie Fox, Editor
Beckie gardens in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, and is a Master Gardener who loves spreading the joy of gardening. A long-time writer and editor, Beckie was on the editorial team of Canadian Gardening magazine for its first decade from its launch in 1990 until becoming its editor from 1999 to 2001 when it was owned by Avid Media.
An interest in container gardening evolved into her book, The Potted Garden: Creating a Great Container Garden, published in 2002 by Prentice Hall Canada. Beckie enjoys speaking at garden clubs, garden centres and home shows in Ontario. She teaches gardening at George Brown College and the Toronto Botanical Garden in Toronto.
