Volunteers and staff at Canada’s 2015 Garden of the Year in Annapolis Royal are pleased to announce plans for the 2017 Annapolis Royal House & Garden Tour on Saturday, July 8th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Under the banner “Walking in the Footsteps of the Past”, this year’s offering spans 3 days, starting with “Wine & Roses” in the Historic Gardens on Friday evening (5 p.m. to 7 p.m.), the House & Garden Tour on Saturday (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.), and a series of activities on Sunday.
The Atlantic Master Gardeners plant sale will be held Thursday, May 11th, 2017 at 10 a.m. The plant sale will be an important fundraiser for the IWK, organized by the Atlantic Master Gardeners. There will be gorgeous plants and lots of information available regarding gardening. This is an excellent way to contribute to the IWK children’s garden.
The Mount Denson Garden Club will host the Valley District 5 meeting of the Nova Scotia Association of Garden Clubs (NSAGC) on May 6, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Nova Scotia Association of Garden Clubs (NSAGC) is an organization made up of Garden Clubs, Horticultural Societies, and Specialty Plant Societies from across the province. The NSAGC annual convention will be held June 2-4, 2017.
The Wilmot Garden Club plant sale will be Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Plants for sale at very reasonable prices, mainly perennials. Experienced gardeners present to give advice.

The Dartmouth Horticultural Society plant sale will be Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This is a very popular event and we urge you to come early!
