Sudbury Horticultural Society Meeting

Guest speaker – Manidoo Bineshiinh. She will be speaking about reciprocal relationship with the land and sustainability.

“Currently, I am the creator of “Manidoo Bineshii Dreams”, an indigenous-owened arts collective and edible forest space in Atikameksheng Anishnawbek, Ontario. This safe space promotes healing and connection by returning to land-based living and arts. The addition of the edible forest enhances the restoration of native medicines and wild fruits. Come see what is grown in beautiful Northern Ontario. In 2022, workshops will be offered that are grounded in history, art healing, herbalism, organic gardening and seed saving. Outdoor experiences all year round include crafting dream catchers, beading, visual arts, fire cookouts, and camping. Workshops are offered virtually and in person.”
