The Ancaster Horticultural Society meets on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017. A coffee/tea social begins at 7:30 p.m. followed by the meeting at 8:00 p.m. The Society welcomes freelance writer, editor & digital consultant Tara Nolan. Tara is also co-founder of the popular gardening website Savvy Gardening and her topic is: “Gardening in the Future with Raised Beds”.
The Ancaster Horticultural Society plant sale will be Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 8 a.m. to 1p.m. There will be a variety of perennials, flowering shrubs, small trees, potted peonies and loads of potted herbs. Featured this year are 400 heirloom tomato plants!
