A new trend with three different plant species grown together from the beginning to create an instant mixed planter. —Rodger Tschanz, University of Guelph

 More info

You’ll likely find more than a dozen of these types of pre-planned combinations using at least three different flowering plants in garden centres this year. The cuttings are grown together from the start—a different process than transplanting individually grown plants into a large container. It takes the guesswork out of wondering if certain plants and colour combinations go together, and garden centres will like having mixed planters all set to go from their growers. Confetti Garden Bee Happy will be available exclusively at Loblaw garden centres this spring.
