Alpines, Lilies, and Endemics of Japan, by Liz Knowles

Liz Knowles will show us wild plants of Japan from sea level to 2100m, from Honshu and Hokkaido, from her 2019 trip. Some speices are familiar to N Americans, and others are circumpolar alpines. Liz will cover species Lilies that have been used extensively in breeding oriental lilies as well as an impressive array of endemics.
