Made for Shade with Master Gardener Mary Ann Van Berlo

The next meeting of the Stittsville Goulbourn Horticultural Society is on Tuesday, October 19th and will take place on Zoom at 7:00 pm.
Our guest speaker this month, Master Gardener Mary Ann Van Berlo, gives her presentation “Made for Shade: Planning and Plant Selection for Sun-challenged Gardens”. Mary Ann will discuss the types of shade and how to select and grow plants for all those types of shady locations. She will remind us not to forget to add colour, texture and various heights of plants to achieve a pleasing garden design with lots of visual interest throughout the seasons.
Society members will be emailed the Zoom meeting invite. If you are not a member and would like to attend free as a one-time guest, or if you would like to become a member, please send an email to [email protected]. Annual membership is $15 per person or $25 per family.
