The next meeting of the Stittsville Goulbourn Horticultural Society is on Tuesday, January 17th. The meeting will be held in person at our NEW LOCATION, the Johnny Leroux Community Arena (second floor), 10 Warner-Colpitts Lane, Stittsville, at 7:30 pm.
The topic of this month’s meeting is “What the Heck is This?” Do you have a plant that you can’t identify? Having problems growing a particular plant? What is puzzling you about your plants, either in the garden or indoors.
This will be a meeting of member participation, so bring pictures, descriptions, questions, or samples of your “problems.” Our very own experts, Lee Boltwood and Judith Cox (both Master Gardeners) and Arlene Rowe (one of our most knowledgeable Society members), will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. Alternately, you may have expertise of your own to offer. If possible, please send photos of your “problems” ahead of time, to be displayed during the meeting, to [email protected].
Although Covid-19 restrictions are no longer in place, we would respectfully request that you wear a mask during the meeting.
If you are not a member and would like to attend free as a one-time guest, or if you would like to become a member, please send an email to [email protected]. The annual membership is $15 per person or $25 per family. Please join us for what is sure to be a fun evening.
