Liz  Primeau is an avid gardener and cook, especially  after many years as a magazine editor and writer, in 1990 Liz Primeau became the first editor of Canadian Gardening magazine and, in the late ’90s, host of its HGTV show Canadian Gardening Television. After leaving the magazine and the world of TV in 2000, Liz launched a speaking career and wrote the best-selling Front Yard Gardens: Growing More than Grass.

She’s also written a gardening memoir, My Natural History, and In Pursuit of Garlic: An Intimate Look at the Divinely Odorous Bulb, a personal and informative book that covers the history, lore, medical properties and culture of the most under-appreciated vegetable in the world.

Liz is an avid gardener and marvelous cook who has developed many dishes containing garlic.  She has lived in Mississauga most of her life, for the past 35 years in Applewood Acres.
