September 19 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pmFree
In this presentation Brenda will discuss how she created her own native plant prairie garden and show the fascinating bees and some other insects she has learned about since planting native plants. The presentation will also explore the connection between bees and flowers and their mutualistic and sometimes antagonistic relationship and how the two have co-evolved together.
Brenda is the President of East Gwillimbury Gardeners and the owner of a small native plant nursery called Pollin’ Gardens. In 2021 she won second place in the North American Native Plant Societies’ native plant garden video contest.
