Class on Proper Pruning of Fruit Trees – Free

Incorrectly pruning a fruit tree can affect its health, growth, and fruit production.
Pruning a fruit tree with no knowledge is like trimming a plant with a hedge trimmer wearing a blindfold

Jeff Micka, an arborist friend and colleague of Tom Del Hotal, who Tom taught and worked with on fruit tree pruning projects, will be speaking on various pruning tips.

Date: Saturday, October 16, 2021
Time: 10:00 am to Noon
Location: Farm Food Lab, Irvine Great Park (at the 5 Freeway and Sand Canyon)

The event will be held in person as well as virtually / Remote.

Onsite space will be limited and current members & preregistered people will have preference.

Hats and bottled water are recommended as we will be moving to various locations during the meeting.

Attendees will be welcome to stay after the meeting to socialize with other members.
