Cleaning the Capital with the Stittsville Goulbourn Horticultural Society

The Stittsville Goulbourn Horticultural Society is once again participating in the annual City of Ottawa Cleaning the Capital campaign, which this year falls on Earth Day, April 22, 2023.

Volunteers are welcome to join members of the Society as they clean up the Trans Canada Trail from Shea Road to West Ridge Drive. This is also an opportunity for high school students to earn their volunteer hours.

Participants are asked to meet at Village Square Park (Abbott Street West and Stittsville Main Street) on Saturday, April 22nd at 10:00 am. The cleanup will continue until 12:00 noon. Gloves and bags will be provided. Please dress appropriately, including suitable footwear.
