From Seed to Seed: Conserving and Restoring Native Trees

Dr. Stefan Weber of the Carolinian Canada Coalition and the Ontario Plant Restoration Alliance will be presenting “From Seed to Seed: Conserving and Restoring Native Trees” as part of the Creating Nature Inspired Garden series a collaboration of the Stratford and Area Master Gardeners and the Stratford Public Library.
Dr. Weber has an MSc in Evolutionary Biology from the University of Guelph, and a PhD in Restoration Ecology from McMaster University. He has previously worked with the Toronto Botanical Garden, the Biodiversity Institute of Ontario and St Williams Nursery helping propagate over 300 species of native plants from seed.
