Native Orchid Ecology and Conservation with Dr. Dennis Whigham

Join us online to learn about fascinating and beautiful native orchids. Dr. Dennis Whigham is the Founding Director of the North American Orchid Conservation Center with a goal of assuring the survival of all native orchids in the U.S. and Canada. The presentation will focus on the ecology of native orchids, the foundation upon which NAOCC stands, and the approach that NAOCC uses to reach it’s goals.

East Gwillimbury Gardeners meet on the third Tuesday of the month at 7 pm. Meetings are held online in February, March, April and November, and in person at the Mount Albert Community Centre, 53 Main Street Mount Albert Ontario in  May, June, July, September, October.  In person meetings are live streamed.
