Richmond Hill Gardens Maintained by our Society
August 2 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Join us on a photographic tour and learn about the back stories of the beautiful gardens our dedicated volunteers maintain at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts, Mill Pond, Hill House Hospice, and the Richmond Hill Heritage Centre.
Guest speakers are society members Nancy Andrews, Dinah Gibbs, Sally Hossain, and Heather Ann Lowry.
Members: Instructions for participation in this virtual and in-person event will be emailed to members twice – once on the Friday prior to the meeting, and again on Monday. Instructions are also available by logging into our site and checking the “members-only” version of this event.
Visitors: Guests are welcome to participate in this virtual and in-person event at a nominal fee of $5.00 Instructions for participation will be emailed to non-society members who complete the registration process prior to the event start time. Visit the website at https://rhgahs.wildapricot.org/event-4759594 and click on the “Register” button to begin.
All general meetings begin with a welcome and general announcements, which precede the introduction of the guest speaker.
In addition to being provided in a virtual manner, we are planning for this meeting to be simultaneously held at the McConaghy Centre. It is possible that the speakers will be in-person at this event. This is the tentative plan, and will be firmed up closer to the date of the event. Although Covid-protection measures are being relaxed, the majority of our members who participated in a spring 2022 survey requested the wearing of masks at indoor society events, so please plan to wear a mask if you would like to attend this event in person.
